These Repair Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“Customer”) and FasoFix Ontario (“FasoFix”, “we”, “us”), operating from 555 York Street, London, ON N6B 1R6. By submitting a repair request — whether via this website, WhatsApp, phone, or in person — you agree to these Terms in full.
FasoFix Ontario provides diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services for a broad range of consumer electronics including smartphones, tablets, laptops, gaming consoles, smart TVs, audio devices, smart home devices, and electric vehicles / light electric vehicles (EVs/LEVs) such as e-bikes, electric scooters, and electric skateboards. Repairs are performed at our London, Ontario location or, where offered, at the customer’s location (mobile repair) or via mail-in.
Submitting a repair request through our website initiates the intake process only. A confirmed repair appointment is established when a FasoFix technician confirms the booking via WhatsApp or phone. Quotes provided during booking are estimates based on the information you supply; final pricing may differ following physical inspection of the device.
Estimated repair times are provided in good faith and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to part availability, device complexity, or circumstances outside our control. We will notify you of any significant delay as soon as possible.
You are solely responsible for backing up all data on your device before submitting it for repair. FasoFix will not be liable for any data loss resulting from repair or diagnostic work, hardware failure, or any other cause. Technicians may need to power on and test your device; this may expose the device’s contents. We will not intentionally access, copy, or share personal data stored on your device, but we strongly recommend removing sensitive data or enabling a screen lock before drop-off.
We will document pre-existing cosmetic and functional damage at intake. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, and repair work may reveal additional issues not apparent before disassembly. Some repairs carry an inherent risk of additional damage (e.g. cracked glass removal, liquid-damaged boards); we will inform you of such risks before proceeding.
If a device is deemed beyond economical repair, we will notify you and return the device. Any applicable diagnostic fee remains payable. Parts ordered specifically for your repair may be charged at cost if work cannot proceed.
Devices not collected within 30 days of repair completion (or notification of non-repair) will be considered abandoned. FasoFix reserves the right to dispose of uncollected devices to recover outstanding fees after reasonable notice attempts.
To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario and Canadian law, FasoFix’s total liability for any claim arising from a repair service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific repair. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including loss of data, loss of revenue, or device downtime.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) or other applicable Canadian consumer protection legislation.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
FasoFix may update these Terms at any time. The current version is always available on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
